Travel Tech | Asus’ Lighter-Sized Wireless Router
I don’t know about you, but I hate when I check in to my hotel and the WiFi is something akin to the technology my grandmother has in her house. You can choose to connect to the creeping hotel WiFi or you’re stuck, connected to the desk internet cable. Well, Asus has come up with a bit of travel tech that brings a tear to my eye. Introducing the Asus WL-330NUL. A wireless router that takes up as much space as your average lighter! At 65mm long, you’ll be hard pressed to find a better tool for road warriors.
It’s also incredibly versatile, allowing for multiple forms of wifi freedom! Since it’s USB powered, you can turn it on by plugging into your computer, a USB wall outlet adapter, or even or portable charger!
On top of acting as a WiFi router…got a PC with no wireless capabilities? BAM! Wireless! Got an ultrabook with no Ethernet port? BAM! Who’s your daddy?
Asus…..well done…

My name is Spencer Howard, and I’m an Concierge/Host/Drunk who has spent the majority of the past 9 years on the road, hopping from hotel to hotel for months at a time. Through trial and mostly error, I’ve become what the airport security line calls an “Expert Traveler.” (It makes my Mother proud) But for those of us who go beyond occasional puddle jumper and enter the world of Hotel Homebody, it takes more than a complimentary mint and a flat screen TV to warm the cockles of our hearts. I hope you have insurance, because I'm gonna be throwing some knowledge bombs at your face. **Feel free to contact me with your questions about Travel Gadgets & Gear**
